Увы, наша увлекательная дискуссия у авмальгина закончилась, т к он меня в очередной раз забанил.

Но я вас понял. Вы считаете, что сейчас в Сирии крови льется больше, чем ее прольется, если страну целиком захватят ИГИЛ с аль-Нусрой. Моя точка зрения противоположна вашей, т к по моему мнению именно тогда настоящее кровопролитие и начнется. В этом меня убеждает опыт Афганистана и Ирака. Что убеждает вас не знаю, но на этом можно и закончить.

Мысль, которую вы там высказали, мне непонятна. Нельзя воевать одновременно на стороне Асада и ИГИЛ. Желать падения Асада де факто означает желать победу ИГИЛ (скорее всего, поражение Асада приведет к усобице между ИГИЛ и аль-Нусрой, в которой ИГИЛ одержит побду).

Russia and the regime will therefore pursue a strategy to remove mainstream opposition forces from the battlefield either through their submission, destruction, or the transformation of these groups into radical elements that can be rightfully targeted as terrorists. Russia is purposefully driving this radicalization through its deliberate targeting of civilian and humanitarian infrastructure. Russia will pursue an escalatory path in Syria that will constrain the U.S. and the international community into accepting certain levels of violence in exchange for a U.S.-Russia deal that will discourage Russia from escalating further.

Это чье-то мнение, не более. Но я вообще начал тот тред не с русских, а с американцев. Чего они хотят? Получается, что победа ИГИЛ/аль-Нусры их устраивает, поскольку это единственный вариант, если Асад уходит (любым способом).
