После инаугурации Путина в мае 2012 и разгона митинга на Болотной площади российское протестное движение пошло на спад. Тем не менее 15 сентября 2012 оппозиции удалось собрать в Москве около 50 тысяч человек на "Марш миллионов".



Накануне Борис Немцов выпустил доклад "Жизнь раба на галерах (дворцы, яхты, автомобили, самолеты и другие аксессуары)" с разоблачением личной коррупции правителя.

Немцов так писал о цели мероприятия: "Власть в стране поменяется и пройдут честные выборы, когда нам удастся вывести на Марш Миллионов от 500 тысяч до миллиона человек. Тогда на Проспекте Сахарова мы с удивлением обнаружим, что полиция с народом, что многие сторонники Путина и чиновники, включая высокопоставленных, просят слово на трибуне, чтобы изобличить преступный режим. Запахло жареным. Между тем у вождя были и другие заботы. За неделю до марша в Москве он встречался с ненавистной Хиллари Клинтон на полях АТЭС во Владивостоке.

От США требовалось тогда две вещи: снять торговые санкции, отменив поправку Джексона-Веника, и не вводить санкций по Акту Магнитского, за которые боролся Немцов.

"Что касается Магнитского, это, конечно, трагедия, когда человек умер в тюрьме. И, разумеется, должно быть проведено тщательное расследование. Если кто‑то виноват, значит, этот кто‑то должен быть наказан."

Внешне общение было любезным.

She dropped her notes and said he could read those if he wanted to talk, and walked out.

За двадцать лет работы в России Агентства США по международному развитию (USAID) на финансирование различных программ было потрачено почти 2 миллиарда семьсот миллионов долларов. Примерно треть этой суммы было израсходовано на проекты по развитию в России гражданского общества. В текущем году российский бюджет этого ведомства превышает 50 миллионов долларов. 34 миллиона ассигнованы на проекты по демократизации и правам человека, почти 16 миллионов – на здравоохранение и 2 миллиона – на проекты в области образования.

Патрушев между тем отчитался о том, что мерами вроде запрета USAID опасность "цветной революции" предотвращена.

В 2014 об USAID вспомнили в связи с Евромайданом и Революцией Достоинства.

Николай Патрушев: По данным только открытых источников, например, документов конгресса США, общий объем государственного финансирования различных американских программ "помощи" Украине за период с 2001 по 2012 год составил не менее 2,4 миллиарда долларов США. Это сравнимо с годовым бюджетом некоторых небольших государств. Агентство США по международному развитию израсходовало около полутора миллиардов долларов, госдепартамент - без малого полмиллиарда, Пентагон - более 370 миллионов долларов.
Может быть, эти деньги шли на благое дело и помогали выстроить на Украине в понимании американцев настоящее "демократичное" общество?
Николай Патрушев: Не знаю, о каком благом деле можно говорить, если в результате этой деятельности на Украине было выращено целое поколение, совершенно отравленное ненавистью к России и мифологией "европейских ценностей". Elon Musk on Feb. 2 boosted to his more than 215 million followers a post on X which parroted Russian disinformation, claiming without evidence that the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) had once been involved in toppling the Ukrainian government.
Musk, who is leading an initiative for President Donald Trump to slash government spending, has repeatedly discredited the agency in recent days and is pushing for its shutdown.
Research over the years has revealed that Russian propagandists have worked hard to spread the false narrative of a “coup” in Ukraine since 2014. With Musk taking a prominent position in the U.S. government, they now appear to have a sympathetic ear in the halls of American power.
What Russian disinformation and its promotors ignore is clear evidence that the Euromaidan Revolution was organized spontaneously by Ukrainians in a grassroots fashion.
Hundreds of thousands of people from all over the country and walks of life came together to spend three months in freezing temperatures to protest the undemocratic actions of their president and government.

A couple dozen young men go from government office to government office, dressed in civilian clothes and armed only with zip drives. Using technical jargon and vague references to orders from on high, they gain access to the basic computer systems of the federal government. Having done so, they proceed to grant their Supreme Leader access to information and the power to start and stop all government payments.
That coup is, in fact, happening. And if we do not recognize it for what it is, it could succeed.
In the third decade of the twenty first century, power is more digital than physical. The buildings and the human beings are there to protect the workings of the computers, and thus the workings of the government as a whole, in our case an (in principle) democratic government which is organized and bounded by a notion of individual rights.
The ongoing actions by Musk and his followers are a coup because the individuals seizing power have no right to it. Elon Musk was elected to no office and there is no office that would give him the authority to do what he is doing. It is all illegal. It is also a coup in its intended effects: to undo democratic practice and violate human rights.

В психологии технонацистов вроде Маска папки, сортирующие людей на категории, относятся к NPCs (Non-Player Characters) - быдлу, от которого ничего не зависит и которым можно манипулировать, если (с помощью искуственного интеллекта и доступа к личным данным) расклассифицировать его на подходящие категории.



Muslims in Michigan began seeing pro-Israel ads this fall praising Vice President Kamala Harris for marrying a Jewish man and backing the Jewish state. Jews in Pennsylvania, meanwhile, saw ads from the same group with the opposite message: Harris wanted to stop U.S. arms shipments to Israel.
Another group promoted “Kamala’s bold progressive agenda” to conservative-leaning Donald Trump voters, while a third filled the phones of young liberals with videos about how Harris had abandoned the progressive dream. Black voters in North Carolina were told Democrats wanted to take away their menthol cigarettes, while working-class White men in the Midwest were warned that Harris would support quotas for minorities and deny them Zyn nicotine pouches.
What voters had no way of knowing at the time was that all of the ads were part of a single, $45 million effort created by political advisers to Tesla founder Elon Musk...
