It's like the old joke about the two guys being chased by a bear. Clinton doesn't need to run faster than the bear, she just needs to run faster than Trump. Trump needs to grow his base of support in order to not get eaten alive, but so far has repeatedly shown that he can't do it.

This is not funny. It is terrifying. The Russians engage in a sloppy disinformation effort and, before the day is out, the Republican nominee for president is standing on a stage reciting the same manufactured story as truth. How did this happen?
